Inner West Osteopathy in Newtown is a multi-modal practice for complementary therapies.

Experience has shown that using a variety of treatment approaches is the best way for some difficult conditions to improve.

Acupuncture and remedial massage may be best for some conditions, while others need osteopathy and exercise therapy.

The benefit of the team approach means you’ve got a greater chance of finding the right practitioner, or a second opinion right here.

The Team

  • The staff are involved in the teaching of the osteopathic course at UWS (University of Western Sydney).
  • Our acupuncturist Rebecca also teaches yoga.
  • The remedial masseurs have a long and good standing in the community for their work.
  • We happily employ new graduates from UWS and help them in a supportive group environment.
  • Our massage therapists work closely with the osteopaths and other care providers.
  • All practitioners are eligible for health fund rebates.

Our specialties include the treatment of the acute, especially mechanical low back pain, and of ‘disc’-type lesions.

We also care for the very young, including suckling difficulties, torticollis, colic, and early walking difficulties.

Workers compensation cases and CTP injuries are treated, as all practitioners are registered providers of care under relevant rehabilitation acts.
